Cookie policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on codar.software, what they do, and how you can manage your choice. The site is operated by CODAR LLC.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies, such as browser local storage, to remember preferences.
Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others, such as analytics or marketing cookies, are only enabled if you consent in the cookie banner.
2. Essential cookies
These cookies are required for the site to function and do not require consent. They include, for example, session or technical preference cookies from Next.js/next-intl to serve the correct language (PT/EN).
Without these cookies, parts of the site may not work properly.
3. Cookie preferences
When you respond to the cookie banner, we store your choice (accept or decline) in browser localStorage under the key "codar-cookies".
This information is not shared with third parties; it is used only to avoid asking you repeatedly and to honour your decision about non-essential cookies.
4. Analytics and marketing cookies
If you accept cookies in the banner, we may load Meta Pixel (Facebook/Meta) to measure site visits and events such as intro call bookings ("Lead" event).
These cookies may be set by Meta and allow them to associate your activity with Facebook/Instagram accounts where applicable. They are only activated after consent.
If you decline, Meta Pixel is not loaded.
5. How to manage your choice
You can decline non-essential cookies in the banner when it first appears.
To change a previous choice, clear site data in your browser (cookies and localStorage for codar.software) and reload the page — the banner will appear again.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.
6. Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in privacy settings. See your browser's help (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.) for instructions.
Note: blocking all cookies may affect site functionality.
7. Third-party cookies
Meta (Facebook) may set cookies when the Pixel is active. Their use of data is also governed by Meta's privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy.
We do not control cookies set by third parties once enabled; we recommend reviewing those providers' policies.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when we add or change measurement tools. The date at the top of this page indicates the current version.
